The Seven of Swords card represents a fluid situation or unreliable person involved in your affairs.

This card can also represent a warning that you can only succeed in a particular undertaking if you show persistence and do not make hasty compromises.

The Seven of Swords or the Lord of Futility card, as the name suggests, indicates a time when you may feel confused, overwhelmed and skeptical about your next moves to ease out of the difficult impasse.

This card appears at the time when you are expected to take hard decisions. Difficult times take a toll of our mental and physical health. We feel deeply distressed and despondent. We like to sit still and do nothing. In fact, this is the period of indolence and apathy. Consequently, the situation gets worse instead of improving.

Some times this card appears when you have completely lost your self-confidence and start thinking that no matter what you do is not going to make any difference to your difficult situation. You may be trapped into a state of victim mentality. This card may, therefore, warn you to be more careful.
