Dealing with numbers in the psychic world

Numerology is known to be the study of numerical value of the letters that a word, idea or name contains. Also, it is believed to be the supernatural and allegorical connection linking a number and correlating events.

When people hear the term ‘Numerology’, they usually associate is with paranormal meanings that branches out to astrology and divinations. We can call the people who practice and utilize this study as Numerologists.

Numerology was established by Pythagoras and a group of philosophers and they thought that it may give out more accurate and actual concepts and ideas as they believe that mathematics are more empirical, practical and realistic than other subjects. St. Augustine of Hippo also stated that numbers are the universal language that was sent and provided by the gods to us humans as confirmation and verification to the truth. Pythagoras also believed in what he said and he also thinks that everything in this world are related to numbers and therefore have their own numerical meaning and explanation and the people have the choice to search and scrutinize the mystery and the importance of such relationships or just wait for the divine beings to reveal it on its own.

Of course, like any other psychic phenomenon and paranormal circumstances and experiences, there are skeptics and non-believers that points out that numbers have no significant and suggestive meaning and should not be relied on or impact a person’s life. They believe that numerology is merely a superstitious belief that lacks basis and a pseudoscience that just uses numbers to try and manipulate people that it is something that has a scientific authority and therefore, people would have a choice to believe it or not.

There are different methods of numerology; here are some that we have compiled for you.

3 types of numerology

This is the most renowned and widely used practice of numerology in modern times. Numerologists say that the Pythagorean method is the easiest method to learn, practice and understand. It is believed to be taken from the early Greek philosopher named Pythagoras; he is also known to be the father of numerology. In the Pythagorean Numerology, numerologists use full birth names to be able to figure out your numerological chart and they would also need your birthday.

There are 5 numbers that one should be familiar with as these numbers would be able to tell you and to give you insights as to what you are, who you are supposed to be and how you can monitor and manipulate the improvement of your life.  these are the:

The word Kabbalah means “knowledge that comes through the mind and soul rather than through a flesh and blood teacher”, this is quoted from the ancient Hebrews.

This method will teach you that everything in this world has a hidden meaning, every word that exists, every letter in the alphabet and every number. The Kabbalah system helps the people understand the story of our world, our creator and the whole universe for that matter. This will bring you into a deeper understanding of everything that exists and revolves around you.

This is the oldest method as it originates from the ancient Babylon. The Chaldean numerology is believed to be more spiritual than the other methods; a lot of numerologists call it ‘mystical numerology’ and they say that this is the most accurate and consistent among all the systems. The Chaldean Numerology focuses on eight numbers, as the Chaldeans believe that 9 is a holy number and it should be separated. This system is the hardest one to master that is why it is the least popular among the three.

Another fact for the Chaldean system is that they would compute your numerological chart by the name that you are mostly known as, for example if your name is Anthony Hopkins but your friends, family and workmates call you ‘Tony’ Hopkins then that would be where your numerological chart would be based on. Your birthday is also important.
