They found a rapid signal in the 20–45 Hz range that reliably shows up during wakefulness and during REM sleep, the vivid-dreaming phase, but drops away in non-REM sleep, when slower waves dominate and awareness typically recedes. Published in Nature Human Behaviour, the work suggests these thalamic rhythms could serve as a measurable biological signature of conscious states.

The new study does not claim to solve the mystery. She further reveals that the dog is still alive. This prediction has given Jaime a lot of hope of finally recovering her pet as she has already spent a fortune trying to locate her “child.”
