Ace of Pentacles:
This card is a very fortunate one especially in a tarot spread where the main divination is undertaken to ask questions concerning money, property, shares and other securities, and material possessions.
In a more general sense, it represents prosperity, security and a successful career.
Two of Pentacles:
The Two of Pentacles represents the material opposites: a successful project and unsuccessful projects, particularly those concerned with financial; alternating good and bad fortune.
This card also reveals the psychological opposites: mood swings from highs to lows and so on. The Two of Pentacles usually represents an indication of forthcoming abrupt change.
Three of Pentacles:
The Three of Pentacles usually represents a general improvement in the current situation, and is usually a very fortunate in any divination concerning the beginning of a new project or the completion of it.
In the area of careers, it is sometimes an indication of an imminent promotion or an increase in income.
Four of Pentacles:
This card represents a card of material success and achievement. It also represents a security in all matters primarily concerned with money, status and career.
In some other cases it may indicate the fact that good news will be heard from, or through a woman or feminine influence.
Five of Pentacles:
When presented with this card, it is an indication to worry about material things, particularly those concerned with career and financial matters.
In some cases it is an indication of actual money loss or job or home loss, but it may only be temporary.
This card in a normal tarot spread indicates advisability of making a wise financial decision.
Six of Pentacles:
This card usually represents prosperity as a result from the help of others.
Seven of Pentacles:
This card indicates something wrong, usually concerning your personal finances, maybe due to an unwise speculation, a failure to obtain an expected profit, or failure to get a promotion or even a gambling problem.
Eight of Pentacles:
This card usually indicates small profits and small improvements in the work life of the enquirer. It can also indicate that the enquirer pays too much attention to matters of minor importance.
Nine of Pentacles:
The Nine of Pentacles usually represents the material good fortune of the enquirer, and it may be in the form of large profits, or a large increase in income. In some cases it may indicate the prospect of gaining a large inheritance, more over, in general the achievement of prosperity, comfort and the approval of others.
It also represents a rapid coming to pass of what is foretold by fortunate cards on either side of it in a tarot spread.
Ten of Pentacles:
The ten of Pentacles often reveals to the enquirer that they will have great material success, but it will be achieved only after many years of efforts and therefore not altogether satisfactory.
In some cases, the ten of Pentacles will also represent the inheritance of land or property from a close relation.
The Page of Pentacles
The Page of Pentacles represents as a significator any young man or young woman with an earthy, practical type of personality.
In divination it would represents a hard working, methodical person who is careful with money but is not a miser.
More generally it can signify the qualities associated with prudence and good management.
Knight of Pentacles:
This card represents a significator, a rather clumsy man. In divination, it signifies a man who is hardworking and conscientious but lacking in that certain sparkle to the point of dullness.
More generally it represents the qualities of utility – say a gift or a task to complete that is useful but boring.
Queen of Pentacles:
This card represents as a significator, a practical, mature woman. In divination, it represents the same sort of woman; sensible, understanding and warm hearted, but lacking in that sparkle.
More generally the Queen of Pentacle symbolizes the qualities of generosity and warm sincerity.
King of Pentacles:
The King of Pentacles represents as a significator a practical man, in their late Middle Ages or old age.
In divination, it represents a similar man, unemotional and sometimes what impassive in appearance, but in reality far less dull than his outward appearance would suggest, and often very successful in business or administration.
The King of Pentacles represents a devoted friend or lover, although rarely a demonstrative one, who is capable of being a vigorous opponent of those things and people he dislikes.
It can also indicate the qualities associated with such a man – quiet energy, steadfastness of purpose and implacability.
