The Hierophant

The other name for The Hierophant card is Pope or High Priest. As the name suggests, a high priest stands for wisdom, faith, spirituality, righteousness, morality and religiousness.

He is a sensitive and wise teacher and possesses lot of esoteric and mystic knowledge. He can unravel the mysteries of this universe. He can help us to develop an insight to look within ourselves.

The High Priest has experienced the life in all its dimensions and is, therefore, well equipped with the wisdom to teach us the secrets of life.

The Hierophant is depicted holding his index and middle finger as if pointing at something important. The two fingers, in fact, represent the human Will, which if guided in the right direction can lead us to spiritual transformation.
